01Fixed-wing VTOL ISR UAV

VT-4

A fixed-wing VTOL unmanned aircraft for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. It takes off and lands without a runway and comes in two propulsion types: electric for three hours of flight, or gasoline for eight.

Overview

The VTOL architecture lets the aircraft take off and land vertically without a runway, so it can operate from confined or improvised sites, on land and at sea. Fully autonomous mission capability covers navigation, route planning and safe return-to-home.

An all-in-one EO/IR/LRF payload camera supports intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance below the cloud, with target detection, tracking and coordinate determination.

Type 1 uses electric main propulsion for clean, quiet, low-maintenance operation. Type 2 uses a gasoline engine for extended endurance. Both lift off on electric VTOL motors.

Two propulsion types

The same airframe, payload and VTOL system. The main propulsion sets the flight time.
